Formic Acid is also a food preservative, E236, iirc, and it is possible that it could dissolve the gray clots, although I dont have any to test it with.
I havent seen anyone else try it either but its scientifically possible it might work.
Its also in Nettles, but it degrades away at a fairly low temperature, so most nettle supplements you get have very little or none.
If anyone has access to some clots and some Formic, it would be worth a try to see if it works first and then we could try to find out how much people can safely intake.
It looks like it does not bind with EDTA either, so maybe EDTA, Ascorbic and Formic is an even better solution than just EDTA and C.
