In the US and some other countries, pollution control equipment is 99% effective in removing the most toxic pollutants as well as a short list of lesser toxins. WHY i get bent when US gets bullied. In fact, older less effective systems have been “dumped” into developing countries where air born pollutants are less controlled. I’m not implying that crap is not being dumped on populations. Retired from environmental consulting 20 years, I have not seen any discussion of possible “land based contaminants” that could and do become air born. One aspect is contaminants that are not “controlled”. In the US and some other countries, pollution control equipment is 99% effective in removing the most toxic pollutants as well as a short list of lesser toxins. WHY i get bent when US gets bullied. In fact, older less effective systems have been “dumped” into developing countries where air born pollutants are less controlled. I’m not implying that crap is not being dumped on populations. But I would like to see a discussion concerning this environmental reality & how researchers are differentiating this real possibility. Of high concern to me is very arid areas of the planet where land based pollutants would not be as readily absorbed into the terrain but carried far up into the atmosphere. I can see this type of argument being used to deflate the “toxic spray” issue. I live in Texas and since the 2020 fiasco came upon the world - this part of the country seems to have been severely targeted. There is a mix of land based and aerosol based pollutants in the air we fly and live in. There needs to be public scientific based discussions and presentations made on a continual basis to governments by scientists and not pod casters to get traction behind this problem. And then there’s the volcanic, hot springs / geyser and WAR emissions. A very complicated soup in a run away world. The Purple Martins are 2 weeks early this year - I wonder why.
